Privacy

Sally is made by one person. There is no advertising, no analytics, and nothing is sold to anyone. This page says plainly what gets collected and where it goes.

This website

If you put your email address in the signup box, that address is sent to us and nothing else. There is no name field, no tracking, and no cookies on this site.

The form is handled by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which takes what you typed and emails it to us. They see your email address in order to pass it on. Their own privacy terms are atformsubmit.co/privacy.

We use your address for one thing: to tell you when Sally is ready, and to ask if you want to try it early. Reply to any of those emails asking to be removed and you will be, that day.

The app

Your workouts, scores, streaks and alarms are stored on your phone. They do not get sent to us. Sally has no account, no login and no server of its own, so there is nothing on our side holding your training.

One part is shared, and only if you choose it. If you join a crew, these go through your own Apple iCloud so the others in your crew can see them: the crew name and its invite code, the display name you pick, the challenge level you signed for, the date you joined, and an identifier Apple gives your account. That is the whole list. It sits in Apple's iCloud under Apple's terms, not on a machine we own.

Sally sends notifications if you allow them, which is what makes an alarm ring and what tells your crew you showed up. You can turn them off in iOS Settings.

Sally does not use your location, your photos, your microphone, your contacts, or Apple Health. There is no analytics tool of any kind in the app.

Deleting your data

Delete the app and the training on your phone goes with it. To leave a crew, leave it in the app and your row is removed for everyone in it. To be taken off the email list, email us and we will delete the address.

Children

Sally is not built for children and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13.

If this changes

Sally is still being built, so this page will change as features land. The date at the top is when it last did. Anything that changes what leaves your phone gets said in the app, not quietly edited in here.
